I agree that it isn't a case closed quite yet. But we are one step closer.
The links to the settees offer conflicting designed years. One says 1954 while the other says 1955. I would like to know what resource they used.
I don't think Wikipedia is a reliable resource. However, on the Torbjørn Afdal page in Norway, it does mention that Afdal designed a love seat and chair in 1955. I wonder if this is what I have?
Steve, your assumption about my chair is correct. It has never had any brass caps on the legs.

I just got off the phone with them. They were not very helpful. She said, "We cannot give out our resources. That is part of the business." She also claimed that they also see Norwegian pieces with brass feet from time to time. Even after I explained to her that I was not trying to get her resource for personal gain, she was still reluctant to talk with me. "Try looking at the dimensions to see if it's the same."
