I have seen quite a few Vodder credenzas, made by Siblast, that look like this one, particularly the sharp elliptical cutouts, as seen here on one door having 4 of them. The base, however, is flared, and I haven't seen any Vodder pieces with this design, but if I had to make a guess I would say that it's Vodder but I'm no expert.

Thanks guyinSF. I had the same reaction. Drawer design is definitely Vodder. But I haven't seen a piece of his with this leg design. I emailed the person who posted this photo originally and attributed it to Vodder. They attributed it on the same basis - drawer and handle design.

Does it look like these are the original legs from underneath? Is there any indication these could have been added as they look different even by color in the picture? Perhaps there are additional screw holes?? Just a thought.

I pick mine up this weekend, so I'll look. It's identical to this photo which was posted by a retailer in SF. So I'm thinking the legs are original. I took a quick peek when I was inspecting it last weekend before buying it and didn't see any signs that there would have been different legs originally. Thanks for the thought though.

I have seen a few piece definitely not by Vodder with the same design on the drawers and handles. Many manufactures/designers copied each other during the period and many after.
I have recently seen a reproduction merrow associates desk. It is not easy to tell the copy from the original now. In 20 years time it will be very difficult to tell the copy from the original.
