Is there a way to differenctiate the knock-off DCM chair from the originals still being sold?

If it's a recent chair by Miller/Vitra then one would expect to find a label still.

These are the replicas. Have not seen one in person but not sure how you would determine it is not a real one with the exception of a sticker which could be copied.

Boot glides, for one.
DCMs are not offered in White Oak.
Pictures can be difficult to discern. I suspect that if you were to see these in person, further differences would be apparent -- e.g. dimensions, shape of the wood, veneer, overall quality, etc.
I also suspect that these do not have a fake Herman Miller tag on them.

Agree - firstly check the feet glides, secondly check the construction - does it look the same as genuine chairs? Obviously dimensions is another. If you're still unsure then walk away.
