D C W chair?
I recently purchased a chair at an estate auction (because it was so cool looking!) and have since found a little information pointing me to the Eames side chair. I was wanting info on authenticity and insurance estimate. It has the elongated shock mounts and on the underside someone wrote in pencil DCW Birch. It was owned by a retired professor formerly from NYC. The set of five screws on the back leg undercarriage seem to be the replacements as they are wood screws, while the backrest and front legs are attached with more bolt- like screws.
