Has anyone ever ordered from this company? I need to replace the previous owner's "remuddle" with something more appropriate and I'm loving these doors.

Crestview is discussed often and endless threads about
homes like yours.
But search a bit first before starting a topic that has been discussed.

I think they raised their prices recently. I was also considering a crestview until I saw how much one would cost. I lost interest very quickly. I actually like my alternative option better, and it's cheaper...I am putting in a glass door from lowe's (like a french door) and removing the wall in the entry way to put in decorative block. This will allow light in through the glass door and block, but give some privacy.
They may be expensive, but...
They may be expensive, but consider you are paying patronage to American craftsmen who take real pride in their craft. I'm not saying that this alone qualifies them as the best option, but whatever you end up buying at Loews is likely going to be an imported, second-rate rendition, made with zero love and no concept. I like that someone out there offers up a unique service like Crestview Doors, and I would want to subsidize that if I were in the market for a door. That said, yes, $4200 is a lot of bread for some doors.
...I think this place is named after the Crestview area in Austin, TX, where I will eventually be housing myself -- another reason for my shameless endorsement.
I'm sorry Riki.
That was not meant to be bitchy. I've been on the road for work and
found myself with very little internet access. 3 minutes here and there.
The computer has become an important tool for me and my family.
Frustrating when i need to sit in a Starbucks parking lot at 6am
(with a deli cup of coffee). I like to support local mom and pops when
i travel.

I've followed Crestview since he started the business. Extremely well made and
the cost reflects the expense and care he takes. His business has grown and
nice to see. I have e-mailed them about some hardware that appears in one
of their web photos. They got back to me and were very helpful.
I do like a few of the styles. Some are reminiscent of 50's Sears catalog stock
and were not so well made back then.
Another solution would be to find a local woodworker in your area and have a
custom door made. I just think all the shipping costs and handling could be
better spent locally.
I moved two years ago and went through all the same searches.
I meant the link to be helpful.
Again apologies.
I've photographed doors all over the Canadian NE maritimes. One of my
favorites.
