Need a bit of help. Took a bit of a hiatus from selling stuff on craigslist amd wanted going to start up again. Having issues with listing though. Looks like they are being ghosted as craigslit states the adds are active but they do not come up in searches. Just opened a new account, different IP address, email etc and the same thing is happening. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Craigslist algorithms are...
Craigslist algorithms are pretty complicated and are constantly being updated.
Are you hotlinking images, linking to external websites, using advanced html/scripting, keyword spamming or have a history of spamming in general?
Once you get flagged, craigslist knows exactly what to look for and youre pretty much screwed unless you take some pretty drastic and time consuming measures to bypass their filters (none of which I will share).

I WAS
using imageshack and figured that was now being detected so listed using the standard "add/edit images" option. Hmm, not sure what your hesitation with sharing info is about....we would have to be in the city selling the identical item for there to really be an issue but appreciate your input regardless.

jdip,
Its not that I dont want to help, the problem is, the more people using certain techniques, the more likely CL will begin to detect them.
A basic tip would be to avoid using templates. If a certain percentage of text in your ad is similar to other ads, CL will detect this and assume youre spamming.
