So maybe I didnt get a steal of a deal, but all in all I think it was a fair deal. Plus he delivered it and I got the hanging bird thing, all for $480. 🙂
Dont judge the house too harshly, as I am finishing a god-awful remodel, and some things are still not finished.
That makes three desks for me now (not counting the fraudulent Milo Baughman campaign desk)- two Mccobb's and a Stanley Young/Baughman desk. My desk fetish is now satisfied! Lately, I have been thinking more about clocks...
oh geez
sorry, I thought I had posted it...the mccobb desk..the small desk under the weinberg clock. I tried to post a closeup, but it limited me to two pics.
Thanks! I love the fireplace ledge also. And the wood paneling, and the floating stairs (not shown). It was built it 1963, with all glass surrounding a courtyard which opens to a yard.
No on the birds?
I appreciate your thoughts. I will reconsider...maybe it is a little odd! Plus it keeps tipping to one side. I am wondering if it lost a bird along the way! The desk I absolutely love though. I have wanted one of these models for awhile, but never thought I would find one in my hometown! I also have the bigger Mccobb desk, which is not so nicely finished.
brass bird madness...
I found it on ebay, should you want one:

clock
Thanks I clock. Four weinbergs? Wow! I found mine on blackbirdmodern.com. I couldnt pass it up, because I know how rare they are. I would love to have a Weinberg table clock. Do you have one you want to sell?
Whitespike, I think it's a Natuzzi. I bought it recently, on sale at $500 off, from a modern high end furniture store in Phoenix - Copenhagen. Now that I have it, I dont like it so much. The sofa back doesnt have the buttoned tufts, which I dont like. I like the seat portion fine though. I will post some more pics.
