just missed out on a bruno mathsson pernilla lounge for 125 yesterday.
i told the seller i was going to pick it up .. went by.. told me he just sold it!!
is there no professionalism any more?
he said he didn't know if i was serious so sold it to the first person to show up..
bummer.

Here's one from July 11.(Aargh!-this was posted while I was at Brimfield -what a futile search for a deal!)Herman Miller Lounge Chair & Ottoman.-$75.00!!!!The seller explained they paid a ton of money for it in the 70's and there were no pictures,but they said please be able to move it yourself,as "I can't get around anymore".Poor old thing.Could have asked 10 times that amount and it would have been a steal.I emailed today,but I don't expect its still there.

I missed getting this by a couple of hours! they were asking $90 for it, but left me an email saying it sold for $200. I also missed out a couple of months ago on 4 cherner chairs for $150!

oh the pain
An old school/government building that was about to be torn down was selling off all their furniture. There were at least a dozen Emeco Goodform chairs that one man already bought and was putting in his truck when I got there. I heard from a friend he paid next to nothing for them!!

At a church garage sale I spotted a plycraft chair and ottoman with a price tag of $30. I was told someone had bought it already.
