So I have a set of Craft Associates, solid walnut "stingray" tables (tops are veneer), and I am wondering if anyone has any additional background on these tables. I have only seen a handful of these tables on the internet over the years, and never all three together. 1st Dibs has a set of the end tables on their site right now, and I saw a pair of these sell in Miami a few years back. I have only seen the coffee table here on DA a few years back. I am hoping that someone has the catalog for these tables, and more information on year of manufacture, etc. Also looking for peoples feeling on rarity, condition, and overall opinion of the design. I have had these for a number of years now, but I am getting ready to part with them, and I want to be able to represent them appropriately when I do (not looking for valuation, I have some idea of that).
Some background ... I picked these up from a college student, who was graduating and moving on. When I got them they were in really rough shape. Water/beer/food stains all over them, dark outlines of bobby pins in the finish, and someone had gone at them with DA and 60 grit paper. All sorts of pig tails and crescent bite marks on the tops where a hack job of a refinish attempt had been performed. They even burned through the veneer in a couple spots. It was really sad, but I got them for a song, and figured I would give a shot at salvaging them.
I refinished the tops of one of the end tables and the coffee table a few years ago, and just started on the last end table. The legs are actually in excellent condition, despite the original condition of the tops, and these just required a little re-oiling. I was fortunately able to get the tops looking pretty good again, with some very careful sanding and multiple oil applications. I was really surprised at how they turned out, considering where I started. The tables are really stunning, and I certainly appreciate Pearsall's contributions to design, but I fall more on Danish side of the furniture design spectrum, and it is time to trade these out.

I think that was my Adrian Pearsall Stingray coffee table that you mentioned. I posted a question about it last year. I have since had my wood guy repair the damaged veneer and she looks brand new again. I still have the table and use it in my living room. Would you consider selling me your end tables? If I have to buy the whole set to acquire the end table that could be an options too. Here are some pics of my table after my wood guy worked his magic on her.

Yes! Your post was the one I was referring to. Complements to your wood guy, the table looks amazing compared to where it was when you acquired it. Fortunately, most of the veneer chipping on your table was on the bottom edge, so in normal use, I bet you cant see a thing, even when looking hard. Mine fortunately do not have any veneer chips, but there was an unfortunate refinishing attempt somewhere in the past that left some minor scars.
I am absolutely willing to discuss your proposal above. But with respect to the Identification forum, we should definitely take this off-line. Is there a way to PM through this forum, that you are aware of?
