Looking to buy a corner sofa to go in an open plan basement living room...The furniture consists of mid century - kukkapuro tan leather karuselli chair, Arne Vodder teak desk, Troeds teak sideboard, anna castelli Componibili units, orla kiely yellow/grey rug, conran Aspen sofa in grey fleck fabric with lots of scandanavian 70s coloured vases dotted about! Bit of a mix I know - lots of colour! Previous sofa was a Zanotta Alpha which was the most UNCOMFORTABLE item ever. Really looking for something that looks the part but most importantly is comfortable (with a slightly higher back). Thinking about the Cocoa sofa by Rock Galpin with some bespoke higher back cushions made for comfort...Any ideas any one? I want something fairly retro looking if poss but I'm open to suggestions! Either vintage or modern. Thank you!
