Found a 1st dibs type copper ( brass ? ) table lamp over the weekend. Enough about it to suggest some age. I like it..Anyone recognise it ?

Im amazed you dont think...
Im amazed you dont think that it will help to know what country you are in.
Anyway my two cents are that the shade is a real let down, the lamp base has an art deco Jaques Adnet feel but the shade is ugly and lacking any real features of a well designed piece. The whole thing would improve with a clean but I dont think you will make your fortune with this piece.

Matching original shade
not sure if you can see from the photos, but the shade is also copper, with a perforated design. Don't think I'm in a rush to change it.

The shade
is a generic copper sheet pattern that one can buy off the shelf at any DIY store..for radiator covers and the like

I
just don't think any designer of note would use such a generic component

Robert all those designs /...
Robert all those designs / patterns were created in the year dot. The fact they've been used constantly over the centuries in every walk of life, and are still being used from the Kings road to B & Q, is more testament to what they are.
As for the suggestions above of Jaques Adnet & Di Frutta ( ? ). Much appreciated. Gives me something to work with.
Anyone care to date it ?
