Most manufacturers will make things of varying quality depending on the pricepoint their retailer needs.
I've seen some of Copelands pieces at a retailer called Circle Furniture, who sells mostly bland 'traditional' furniture. The quality wasnt bad - I was looking at beds too - but the designs were uninspired.
