Contemporary Solid Oak Bar Stool Design - The Wave

I was surfing the internet tonight looking for some bar stools and i came across these lovely solid oak bar stools.
The design looks really unique for a solid oak bar stool as most are just the standard shape.
What are peoples thoughts on this bar stool? Would you purchase?

Looks heavy.
And a bit clunky.
I've always liked Tage Frid's design for solid wood bar stools:

Hmm
They are kind of goofy, but I like them (regarding the oak stools). They would look nice in the right setting, and the price seems reasonable.
