Can anyone comment on the comfort of sitting in an Eames 670 lounge with no ottoman (671)? I've got a spot where it could fit but there is no room for an ottoman. Does the angle of lounge basically require the ottoman to be worth it?
Yes.
The chair is quite comfortable sans the ottoman. The sitting angle seems reasonably upright to me. I seldom use the ottoman.
