Could do with some advice regarding the attached table, cannot even work out if it has any age, or whether it is an Ikea piece!..... The legs are fixed to the surface with a fixing that requires an alan key.
It is really well made, may even be a bench rather than a table, I recently saw an almost identical tray by Jens Quistaard.
Thanks in advance for any info.

I
find it really odd that it uses a visible allen bolt fixing through the TOP surface of the bench when it could so easily have been invisible.
Surely it's meant to have a seat pad (or something) to cover this? (even then it's a pretty poor solution)
Just makes no sense, it would annoy the hell out of me.
My guess is it's fairly modern ..Dwell or something like that?
Glass top maybe?
Thanks robert1960, yes you are right it does annoy the hell out of me, I am wondering now if maybe it is supposed to have a glass top, and the bolts were covered by some kind of rubber protector? It really would be sacrilege to cover the top with a seatpad, as it is quite stunning in the flesh, anyway, thanks again robert1960.
Lovig..
For some reason the bench stuck in my mind from this post. Then I stubled across this link. Food for thought..
