Anybody know of an internet source is the US for the round cloth covered wire that was used on vintage pull down style lamps? I believe it may have also been used on Poulsen Henningsen and Panton lamps as well (Although this may have been plstic/rubber covered). I have been able to find flat cord or this type, but not the round stuff that I'm looking for. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If it's what I'm thinking...
If it's what I'm thinking you're referring to, there's usually ads for cloth covered cording in mags like American Bungalow in the back advert section. Even a google search should yield something for cloth covered cable.

cloth covered wire
Try www.sundialwire.com. They have a good selection. I had a pull-down pendant light with a spring-loaded cord winder rewired, and they use thicker cloth covered cord now for UL rating, and it is so much thicker that the winder won't hold the thicker cord. So my pendant has a metal cord holder on the hanging cord that doesn't work (but it still looks vintage)

Another option is, of course,...
Another option is, of course, to find a parts machine on ebay...and look at it this way, gut one, and you're doing your part to make 'em rare!
