Seriously, Riki, if you decide to put new hands on it, I would go with the triangular hour hand and simple straight minute hand that you see on the HM Nelson eye, Pizza Meridian, etc., clock.
Maybe the da'ers here can recommend an approptiate minute hand to marry to your original. Clearly, it's a very nice clock.
Good luck.

It adorabe Riki, like a babys bum. I'd leave it. Otherwise your idea seems good...maybe add red hands to make the clock pop...or purple?

I thought maybe
we'd be safe from Clockworks over at Wright Chat, but no. . .
[see below]
So, you're in Switzerland; would it be sensible to suggest that you take your new timepiece to a local clock repair person ? There must be a pretty good selection of them ! He or she could easily tell you if your clock ever had its other hands, and advise you about replacing them. Note that the hands you found online have two different post hole shapes; how would you know before ordering whether they would fit your clock ? Wouldn't the local expert be the best resort -- or are you a diehard do-it-yourselfer ? Some things are still the province of specialists, and clocks seem to belong to that category, to me. . .
A new brass hand would have to be dulled, or the old one brightened up, to make it look right, I guess -- but you could do that yourself, before they are installed. The existing hand is most interesting in form. Your clock person would have the best resources for a good match, don't you think ?
Best of luck with the job.

Totally
Totally have problems with both watches and S&M.
I would put a minute hand on the clock, anything else would drive me nuts. The removal of the minute hand is a very deliberate act - it must have a message, it must be intentional. This clock, charming as it is, lacks that sort of quirky intention and would simply look like a clock lacking a hand.
The one obstacle I see is that the hour hand has a very beautiful typographic quality to it that might be hard to match with a generic minute hand. A jeweler or metalsmith perhaps?

Yes
clock/watch makers are thick on the ground here (obviously!) but my French is not up to snuff yet and I would be intimidated walking into Rolex or Certinoa or whomever and asking for recommendations about my pottery clock parts! I agree tho', that it looks silly without a minute hand. I'll keep you updated.
