I've got a couple of dining chairs are about 32 inches tall and about 22 inches wide. I've heard of people shipping stuff like this using Plycon or Greyhound. Is this the most economical way of shipping something like this? I'm pretty sure the UPS will ding you for an oversized package.

If the
chairs are armless, they could be nested to make a package perhaps 24 by 24 by 38 inches ? The UPS store or a packaging store could make a box for them, which you could then take to Greyhound ?

FedX
I'd check Greyhound's price against FedEx Ground.

greyhound for sure!
Two chairs (one box)from Ca to NY via greyhound was only $55.00 and included pick-up from my home!
I dare you to try and beat that price!
