Very tall
Very tall for Risom. And the arms are certainly wrong for Risom. These are too curly and decorative. Maybe a home-made addition?

Two possibilities. Both...
Two possibilities.
Both look exactly like Risoms chair. One was made in Germany by an unknown producer/designer, and the other in Australia by some designer there. All I can do for you at the moment.

It is!
Ralph Rapson - the Australian. Who also made a rocker similar to the familiar Risom strapped lounge chair.

I don't think it's by Rapson. The Australian I was thinking of, Douglas Snelling, isn't it either. Look at the frame sides. Notice the curve then the ends. On the known chairs by Risom, Rapson etc, the ends are squared off. The chair in question ends in a curved point. Must be a German piece?

Besides, I don't think Rapson is Australian.

We have a couple
of the woven armless chairs on hand right now though I don't know who designed them. They are obviously derivative of the Risom chairs for Knoll. They are quite well made and are marked "Made in Germany" on the bottom. The odd thing too is the scale. They are lower and more reclined than a dining or desk-height chair, but not really low and loungey They are kind of an intermediate size. Maybe an occasional chair that can be used with a seating group or as an additional pull-up? I do think the armless version is more graceful than the armchair. When we got these I looked for some attribution, but came up empty handed. Sorry I don't have more info to share.

Now that totally looks like...
Now that totally looks like the chair in question. Minor exception is that Pegboards chair has a strecher between the front legs. Beautiful chairs.

Oops..
My brain knew that Snelling was the Aussie, but my typing fingers did not.

Forget the chairs
what the heck is that bizarre looking agglomeration of boards nailed to the fence?

It is actually...
steel, and part of a privacy screen to keep the archbishop who lives next door from seeing all of the projects that filter through my patio.

Td, I will
break this to you in the gentlest possible way. Your privacy screen has large holes in it and I am afraid your neighborhood vicar can, indeed, see what it going on in your backyard.

Really?
I hadn't noticed the holes when I welded those panels at age 14. I guess you have a better eye than I do.
