I came across a pair of chairs made of enamel painted wood with metal accents. My guess is 1980's Italian design but that's a guess. They look to me like they belong in a 1980's upscale hair salon or coke dealer's apartment (Scarface).

Has anyone out there spent enough time in an 80's hair salon or coke dealer's apartment to recognize them?

Hell.
In the 1980's my dealer and my hairdresser were the same person....and I can't remember either of them.

Thank you Parafo!
Thank you, Parafo! Clearly you haven't spent as much time with coke-dealers and hairdressers as Mark has. Not that I'm judging anyone ...
It looks like these are original maker, not copies, since the detailed features are a close match to the web link below. It also looks like these are earlier than I thought - the ones in the link were made circa 1960.
I thought about repainting and reupholstering them, but I kind of like the original scars; I'll think I'll just try to clean off the cushions and see how they look.
Thanks again.
