At a glance I'd say vinyl
...but you're in a much better position of judging since you can see it in the flesh, rather than a mere photo.
Can't you turn it upside down and perhaps find an edge of the material to scrutinize? Vinyl will be backed by fabric, whereas leather is backed by... leather.

Leather or pleather?
Fairly reliable test:
GENTLY scratch your fingernail broadside across the surface. If the edge of your nail catches in the material, it's probably synthetic; if the edge slides cleanly over the surface, it's probably animal hide. A known leather object, like a bomber jacket, will give you an idea of the sensation I'm talking about.

I was able to get a piece from under the ottoman looks like cloth on the back Wow I would have bet they were leather Were all the plycraft chairs vinyl
