Hi all,

I'm after a bit of help with identifying a chair that I have been restoring. I'm not sure of the make/designer, the nearest design I have found is this one which states it's a Dux:

The chair is almost identical, but the slats on the back are horizontal, as opposed to the vertical ones shown here.

There were no makers marks on mine, only a stamp which said YUGOSI AVIA - It later clicked (much to my amusement) that this must mean Yugoslavia! Were scandinavian chairs made in Yugoslavia, or is it just a reproduction? A nice one at that!

Thanks for your help and wisdom

Dan

Tons of repros
were made, and still are being made, in Eastern Europe.
