I think the kirkegaard works stylistically. I used mine for a bit then switched over to a simple aluminum Steelcase. The seat height was just better. I actually thought about getting rid of the desk and keeping the chair.
I also
have 2 adjustrite industrial stools that I THINK get low enough. Just about my favorite work stool. I have an epic lust for work stools.
