Hi the-beloved.
You should probably check out auction lot #818 in the link below before you hand it over to Robert1960 🙂

chill
before you get all crazy... these chairs typically get around 2-3 tops.. at auction they may get more or less.. nature of the auction biz.
plus the cushion would need to be present and in good condition to get such a premium..
auctions are very wild as evidenced by some crazy anomalies such as the 22k jacobsen rolling chair among many others.

premium
oh ya and lose 20 % buyers premium from that result as they typically add that to the sale price to make it look higher...

nice one
even with the auction house getting its cut, i'm guessing the_beloved feels like a lottery winner nonetheless.
by the way, how'd you acquire this fine specimen?

it would cost you around ...
it would cost you around 100 bucks US
to have a nice cushion made for that chair in a good fabric look at Joseph Hoffman he has a great one made by maharam look at textiles of the 20 century page 24 for 100 you could get the big bucks on that one

you would need 2 yards on ...
you would need 2 yards on that chair that fabric/leather is 90 a yard so 180.00 Black leather would be great looking also,
and 100.00 for labor that is such a simple job , you can find anyone in your area to make that cushion. It will really improve it with something cool looking , i bet it would be very uncomfortable as it is now like sitting in a Eames 670 with out the cushion.
