Hello!
I picked up this wood / iron chair this weekend and am comming up blank on its history, any clues? It had horrible 80s fabric and has what looks like some sort of camping gear for its seat.
I like that it looks like a hillbilly cousin to my Z chair 🙂
Thanks all!

Kinda Fancy...
I'm pretty sure the wooden lounge is Poul Jensen for Selig. Not really sure about the iron chair, it has a Vista or Pacific Iron vibe to it. Both great finds!

Could be Selrite,
but I'm not familiar with American design.
I know they used the combo iron/wood a lot and
I've seen designs of them with the square platform
for a cushion, like yours.

Viko maybe?
Can't tell if the frame of your chair is tubular or solid. There are a lot of Baumritter "Viko" chairs out there with tubular metal frames, wooden arms, and similar platforms. The line of your chair are much cooler than most Viko chairs I've seen, though.

thanks all!
It seems to be solid metal, although it does feel pretty light overall. Thanks for all the tips!
