Hi All,
Just found four free chairs, two of which were Lammhults armchairs, and the other two as the one shown below. They seem more American to me (I'm in California). They are reasonably well-made, but I'm not sure if I should post in modern chairs with hideous upholstery, or hideous chairs with hideous upholstery 🙂
Anyone has ID or info?
Agreed
>They strike me as either 70's or early 80's chairs of >American make. I've seen these chairs in offices before.
Yeah, they could very well be mass-market office furniture from the late 70's. They're certainly a much better build quality than what I usually find from this period in my academic surroundings. But then again, this was in the med school, where they could probably afford fancier furniture than, say, social science people.
I've set them up in my office and they're slowly growing on me. They have a very nice patina on the arms, yet the wood is in pretty perfect shape. Any ideas on where to look if I still want to ID these?
No Marks
No marks, only a clear spot where the label used to be. The chair uses a combination of Phillips (on the underside) and hex bolts (where visible).
Yes, a thinner padding is definitely the plan. Maybe I'll try to hack the seat shape as well, for added comfort with the reduced padding.
