I am about to reinstate the wooden clad ceiling in the lounge of our 60's modernist house which luckily is one of the only original features missing.
I have been searching for simple cylindrical tube like lamps probably made from steel or aluminium which will work a treat protruding from the timber. I managed to find an image in a magazine which is exactly what I am after.
If anyone knows where I can find this style of lamp please let me know, vintage or new, any suggestions welcome.

Thank Robert, thats just the right style but at 60mm diameter they are too small. I will only have four in the room so they need to be bigger.

I searched
'recessed cylinder light'
Might be worth another go?
I clearly remember the Seventies ones!
