I have a 1970s Le Corbusier chair. The chair looks and feels right. Great quality with a lovely feel about it. It has no Cassina engraved signature on it. Have Cassina always marked their frames or is this a newer development as with some of the Knoll pieces? Any help would be very much appreciated.

The technology...
...needed to engrave the frames at affordable cost is not as old as your chair. It became popular when laser engraving came on the market. I do not know the exact year that Cassina started to do itbut it would surprise me if it was more than 15-18 years ago.
