I just picked up this desk yesterday. It was manufactured in Denmark, but I don't have any other information.
I haven't had a chance to take any photos, but I found the same desk on the internet. These photos are much better than any I could take anyways!
If anybody has some info, it would be greatly appreciated.
I have already checked furnitureindex.dk without any luck.

Re: So far.....
So far I have found two references regarding this desk, however the information is somewhat confusing.
The first reference gives the following info- Production:Lovig, Denmark 1958.
The second- P.Lovig Nielsen for Hedensted 1956-60
The mention of Quistgaard is interesting since he did design a desk
which was produced by Lovig, although not the same design as my desk.

Lovig Hedensted
Yep you right on Lovig for the desk.
Hedensted møbelfabrik was owned and run by peter lovig and he was chief designer.
Quistgaard. Come on get real look at his designs and compare and you will see the difference in style, materials and form.

Quistgaard. Get real? Get reading.
My mention of Quistgaard, was not in reference to the possible designer of the desk, or even in comparing the style, materials or form.
It was only written as an aside since a previous post mentions Quistgaard, and I found it interesting since my research resulted in the name Lovig, and Quistgaard did design a desk which was manufactured by Lovig. No comparisons were made.

clarify...
'that desk everyone talks about "designed" by quistgaard had nothing to do with him...'
Quistgaard had nothing to do with that desk, or Lovig had nothing to do with it? Or both?
I assume this is the desk you are referring to:
