The block/tile seen in the photos linked below remind me of similar ones recently seen. . .where ? Here ?

I love that brick !! I would use it on my sidewall on my home if I could find it , that is really cool
great that you saw it . ( It looks like it was it was made in some kind of mold with smooth concreat) .

I can't see the images but...
I can't see the images but were'nt FLW textile (?) block houses (Ennis Brown etc) built prior to any Durrell Stone buildings? Apparantly they're all falling apart now cos he was such a cheap old bugger!
Do the States have anything like the English system of heritage conservation, I hope this work isn't just being left to rot.

Dear SDR...
Just two words to confirm that this one is indeed designed by Erwin Hauer. To design a "brick like that used to be one of the "classic" first year design projects and I guess many of us have one in their archives...I will have to look for mine.
