Can anyone identify these 'poang' style [but quality made] bentwood and canvas leather cushioned armchairs please?
I have inherited a pair of wooden [layer glued bent wood] framed armchairs [probably 1970s] with stretched canvas supporting detacheable leather 5ft 'cushions'
They are obviously the original inspiration for the IKEA 'poang' style.
But they are high quality products with dark [probaly] hardwood frames supporting a slung canvas base for full-length soft leather cushions
My chairs also differ in that there is no cross piece joining the two feet at the back
and that
the bentwood is a single piece from foot to the top of the back ie it does not end at the back of the arm like the poang
also
there is no separate wooden frame supporting the seat; it's slung canvas like a deck chair. The leather cushion is a single piece covering the full length of the chair [approx 5ft] - it is not attached but just sits freely on the canvas.
I've also linked the IKEA poang chair

Thanks
These seem to be the style & the leather cushions definitely look right. I've just been doing internet searches but I haven't found any images with the legs running from front to back so not a definite match.
Can anyone confirm this?
Does anyone have any idea of value?

I still can't match the exact chair
Westnofa seem to be an importer of various manufacturers - am I correct ?
I've had a very prompt reply from Varier US which says they are not either stokke or varier chairs

Hi David,
These are not Stokke or Varier chairs. They are not ours. They could be old Rybo, but I am not sure.
