Hi,
Is anyone able to identify these Hans Wegner chairs? The seller says they are from 1961 and original. They look like the CH33, but they don't have the support beams between the legs. Is it possible they aren't real?
Thanks!

Wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas on these chairs? After doing some more research, they seem to be pretty spot on to the CH30, not the 33 as previously mentioned. The major difference I see though is the chairs are missing the post between the front legs. Should I assume these are reproductions?

This set (and photos) was recently listed on craigslist in the Chicago area (maybe Milwaukee if I recall correctly). Did you buy it? There was a fairly weak story about a writer needing some money so he is selling his rare "Wegner" chairs. The asking price was way too high for what the chairs are.
Perhaps if you print out pictures of this chair and place it side by side with pictures of the CH33 and CH30. . .
Horseshoes and hand grenades.
You don't even need to
print out a picture, just open two browser windows and look at the pics here in one window and Wegners in the other window. Easy.
They're not Wegners of any kind, just a vintage "inspired by" chair.
ETA: they're not the Finn Juhl BO 62, either---though they are closer to that than to the Wegner 30 or 33.

and here you go . . .
$3000 for laminate table and 4 "very rare" Hans Wegner chairs.
Surprising that this listing has been active for over a month without any museums snapping it up for their collections.
Having said all that, I kind of like the chairs and would happily get them at $40 a pop.
