Hi from New Zealand
I have a pair of these chairs. Teak or mahogany? with a woven cane base. Similar to several of Neils O. Moller's chairs - but different. The closest I have come is a tiny photo of a chair designed by H W Klein for Bramin Mobler. This may have arrived in New Zealand as part of a company called Dansk Mobler.
Any information gratefully received
Regards
Alistair

how much time do you have
if it's lots then search through the index
my first thoughts were Wilhelm Wohlert but at closer inspection it's not

Thanks Simon...
... good suggestion - The back is indeed very Vilhelm Wohlert - but the legs/base are more Niels Moller.
So it could possibly be a local (New Zealand) manufacturer who took elements from classic Danish designed chairs... still a mystery...

.
I have 2 chairs very similar to this, they were made in Australia (South Australia I think) and designed by Campbell Scott, sorry I don't have any more information, they are a bit obscure.
He worked with an architect by the name of Hayes.
