Can anyone ID this NON-PURPLE sofa for me? Pearsall?  

surely someone must know...
All of the knowledge here (and almost 100 people have looked at this) and nobody has any idea? Or is it that people just get annoyed with newbies asking this sort of question?

I'm in the Baltimore area and have seen a bunch of Pearsall pieces and this doesn't really look like his stuff. I'm far from an expert but I did dismantle one to reupholster it and was kinda dismayed at the way it was made---cheap plywood framing with sections upholstered before they were assembled, which made it very hard to reupholster. If yours looks like that, ok...but style-wise, it doesn't look like Pearsall to me.

There was an Ebay auction ending this evening with a sofa described as Pearsall that looked somewhat similar to mine.

last sofa I've seen accredited to Craft Associates before..but not yours with the drawers

My gut still tells me that it is Craft Associates, based on comparisons of close-up photos of how the base is constructed in these two photos. I've seen other photos of the webbing on known Pearsall sofas that matches the webbing on mine. I've also read that they did some limited production runs and often re-used bases in various incarnations.
I was just looking for confirmation from some furniture obsessives here. Other than satisfying my OWN obsessive nature it doesn't matter. I didn't buy it for any "name" or monetary value. I just like the design.

you're right, it is nice. can't help you either on the identification part, but the quality of te wood looks good, nice and solid.
The matras looks a bit saggy, for upholstery I would choose something rough, with a visible thread, no?
Be sure to post some photos of the process, the past three years I bought a lof of stuff that need renovation. Every help (or sympathy) is welcome!

I was considering staying...
I was considering staying with a green wool for the upholstery, but a different darker shade. Perhaps a kvadrat fabric. I didn't mention that it's also on casters, which is kinda cool I think.

I bought this same sofa and the woman who purchased it said it was made by Drexel and was a custom order.

I believe it is one of Adrian Pearsall's pieces
I purchased something very similar for a client. Although you do not show the reverse side, the Pearsall sectional I purchased was upholstered on the reverse.
The cushion feels like a very firm boat foam. You cushion may have been replaced.
Try google and look up Thomas George Antiques in Greenwich CT. He is a modern furniture expert! He has an amazing set of Paul McCobb tables that will make you drool!

suspension series
hi! in doing endless research to identify my living room set. i came across this blog entry admiring mr. pearsall's work. i own this exact living room set but it had been reupholstered before inheriting it and the tags were removed in the process. i believe that your sofa could be one of the 19 pieces from the suspension series. it has many of the characteristics that my set has. i was sure it was an adrian pearsall piece but again without tags and not being one of his more popular iconic pieces it was only an assumption.

According to Jed, it's definitely Pearsall....
Just as an update, I contacted Adrian Pearsall's son Jed last year to see if he could confirm whether my sofa was one of his father's designs.
His answer: "It definitely is."
So take that you nay-sayers.
