I have a camel colored theatre couch from dwr and was thinking about putting an eames lounge next to it. Would it be better to get a black eames lounge or dark chocolate brown eames lounge to sit next to the camel colored sofa?
My thoughts are the black are a little too popular, which is why I was considering brown. Thanks

I agree
Brown and camel are analogous tones and will help create a clam atmosphere. I also think that it's too much leather, which would give a sterile appearance. Can one get Krypton or another microsuede on Eames lounges? In a rich cocoa that sould look nice...and be virtually indestructible as well.
Brown --
if the camel is the right tone to go with it. There are warmer and cooler browns and camels, and it's possible to have an awkward match, I believe. The couch in the photo isn't as warm as I expect of camel. . .on my screen, anyway.
You can compensate for "too much leather" by putting fabric pillows on the couch, and with an appropriately fuzzy carpet, maybe ?
meant to reply to this earlier but got distracted - Black!!
Black. Brown and camel and the wood on the Eames and just blah. Black will be crisper and more dramatic, and the wood on the Eames will bring in browns (walnut) or camels (palisander)
Also - I always think the brown leather Eames is blah to begin with - no contrast between the wood and the leather. Add a camel couch to that and its blah-a-rama.
