Cado royal vs PS system, once again

I've noticed recently that there are two kinds of cado royale metal brackets on the market: most of them insert at an angle (bottom set of pictures), whereas others are attached through the shelves via a bolt (first picture). The former model is more elegant, but I was wondering what the second type was about because, you know, that't the one we have here.
The unit is well built and the wall mounts have a Made in Denmark embossed in the back, and they look well-made. These were acquired in California. Would that have been a variant available in the US at the time? Or are there any copies that people know about?

Hi, those shelves could be PS System shelves. I've certainly not seen Royal system shelves attaching with a screw underneath. But I might be wrong.

You are both right of course. I was not familiar with the PS system, and assumed it was Cado based on photos. I didn't expect such a close match on a different system. Now that I know what to look for everything becomes clearer. Thanks for your help!
Anyone tried to use Cado shelves with PS wall mounts? We have a few extra mounts without shelves, but the Cado shelves are much easier to find around here than the PS.

From memory, I think there's a slight difference in the spacing of the holes in PS system struts, which might make it tricky to use with cado shelves. But might work ok, never tried it personally.

Makes sense, that might actually explain why the second set of shelves in my OP had extra holes drilled into it! We'll just have to extra patient, or prepare mentally for a drilling operation.
