Hi,
I have the opportunity to buy a set of Mobelintarsia teak nesting tables for a good price (approx. 50 USD).
The seller is at the other side of the country so there is no way I can see the tables in person. From the pictures I've seen, the tables seem in excellent condition but...
... there is a big unidentified red/burgundy stain on the smaller one top (see the picture below) and the seller doesn't know what it is (inheritance).
Do you think that the stain can only be superficial and can go with a little rubbing or sanding?
My point is I really like the table and do not mind to work on them but if there is no chance I can get rid of that stain, I'd rather keep my money.
What do you think? Is it worth the bet?
