Hi, I did a Google and designaddict search, but could not find a good answer.

Is there a link or online description of the best way to replace a bulb on a Poulsen PH5? I am about to hang one up in my dining room and have heard stories of people taking the fixture apart because they couldn't figure out a simple way of replacing the bulb.

Thanks.

You hold the very top of the lamp and turn it clockwise, the main body of the lamp will then be free of the part that holds the bulb. You then change the bulb and reunite the two parts.
Unless I'm missing something it is a very simple procedure.

Thanks. I'll try that out...
Thanks. I'll try that out tonight. If so, then it would be much easier (and less chance of damage) to have the diffuser shells detached when hanging the fixture. Then, the bulb can be screwed in and diffusers reattached after the fixture base has been installed.
