Hi Builder, I did get a great deal on the falcon chairs (I just love them) but unfortunately my judgement wasnt so great with the table. The falcon chairs - I did offer what I thought was a reasonable price and I didnt know what they were worth - still dont. When the owner removed them for sale they went back to the original listing. They were originally listed at a starting price of I think $50.00 and a 'buy it now' price of $175.00, but someone chose to bid and the buy it now dropped off - can you believe it?? I missed that one!! The is another falcon chair listed at the moment, but it doesnt have the metal hooks that mine have, the leather attaches straight to the steel. Have you seen them this way before?

On the table - I got the table home (bugger I didnt notice earlier) and the lugs are broken, so the seller has said she will take it back and refund my money - she is saying that the lugs werent broken when she offered for sale, so I guess I am going to end up with negative feedback anyhow....if they werent broken before I picked it up I cant work out how they could have broken on the trip home....least i can be rid of it and will get a refund.

Yes, but I want to know how you know what they cost me (and do you know what they cost me) - I know you were speaking with the lady but I thought it was prior to the sale? Come on reveal all - I offered $800 and she accepted - what would you have bid up to?

OKAY WHAT WOULD YOU PAY FOR...
I am interested to know what you would normally pay for two falcon chairs by seigell ressell and a foot stool? Can anyone enlighten me. I have had a look around the web and they can be anything from a couple of thousand to a couple of hundred.

The rosewood chairs are far...
The rosewood chairs are far more common, worth around $300-600 depending on condition/colour/size. The steel framed chairs are the ones to go for. These have shot up in value recently (they were only produced for a couple of years as Vatne found it too expensive to produce them, so they did them in the wood!) these are worth $1000-2000 depending on condition/colour/size - I quote the UK market here btw if these prices seem under/over.

well,
no Im not going to sell them. I have seen another set go to auction locally (bendigo) and they sold for $1100.00. They were beautiful low back tan leather, two chairs and a foot stool. better then the ones I have. I bid to $1000.00 but my husband was looking like he was going to kill me.
