I have a Bruno Mathsson 'Eva' chair, or at least a chair which is styled after the 'Eva' chair. I have studied every facet of my chair and it definitely appears to be authentic. This is not a new chair, it appears to be fairly old. The main aspect which causes me to have my doubts, is that the chair does not have any marks, tags, etc.
Where all authentic examples marked, and if so, how?

Branded mark
They are usually marked on the stretchers with a burned wood brand.
Post photos if you have them.

Yes, that is the first thing...
Yes, that is the first thing I looked for, a burnt marking. That is what first raised my suspicions, no burnt mark. My second thought was that perhaps they used labels at some point and it may have gone missing over time.

From the start in the early 1...
From the start in the early 1930s, all Bruno Mathsson furniture was marked with hand signed labels. As the volumes grew, this became too time consuming and the burned markings replaced the labels in the mid 1950s.
I don't know if there were copies good enough to pass for the real deal, but it seems as if your chair is authentic. Photos would would help of course.
