Hi there. Any help would be appreciated! I have previously sold a Jorge Zalszupin Brazilian table through Christies. They described it as being on an Eames Aluminium Group base. I presumed therefore that the base and top were not original to each other. However, I have just purchased another table almost identical - same Zalszupin style top with an eames style base. I'm sure this isn't just a coincidence as the original owner insists he bought the top and base together in the 70s. Does anyone know if perhaps the rosewood top is in fact Eames not Zalszupin therefore matching the base? Here is a link to the table that sold through Christies. Thanks so much

Thanks for your help
I really appreciate it. I was pretty surprised when they advertised the table as an eames base so am glad you've put me/them straight! Thanks again

two examples below
Of the different aluminum group table legs/feet. First dates from approx 1958, second from approx 1968. Both are still in production.
And in case anyone is missing their dalmation... see picture three.
