I'm on a high!
Just purchased this awfully nice audio-combination designed by Dieter Rams for Braun. I must say, it's far bigger than expected! Therefore I've attached a photo giving you an idea of its size.

I've always been fascinated by Dieter Rams designs. Some years ago I stumbled on a little book, called 'Design: Dieter Rams &' by Gerhardt Verlag, containing all products by the master.. Ever since I've been even more hooked.

So this thread is also a call to bring out all Braun Products & Designs in general (Vitsoe...) by Rams!

i went to see a lecture by dieter rams in feb this year at the V&A, there was camera crew filming they are supposed to be posting it online i'll have a look and see if its up
Have you seen this book? its really comprehensive, got mine a week or so after we went to see him, would have been great to get it signed 🙁

and there's nothing wrong with his Braun desk fan, either. I have 3 of them.

I think you're right about the fan
I've seen both names connected with its design. Either way, it's certainly the first (or one of the first) horizontal fan designs.

Through wich channel did you purchase these fans, Barry?
I bought my hi-fi-set via low-profile vending-site. The people who were selling it were really nice.
I have the impression that there's not much around, here in Belgium.
