WHC, I love how you have your art framed in deep boxes, it looks great.
On a more expensive note, I'd love a Serge Mouille lamp too, or a Ruspa lamp would be perfect as well :o) -but currently I am listening to my new The xx CD with a glass of rosé = affordable & very enjoyable as well !
Take care, everyone with snow piling up- I had a friend falling nasty last time the roads were too smooth over here.

Fun for the kids and husband
I'm sure this isn't the wish list you meant, but we want these sold-out New Super Mario Bros. decals. DH and I want them for our kids' playroom, which is an oversized, second-floor landing.
I want to paint the bottom of the room green and add some mystery boxes, vines and clouds. The second room can be seen here: http://www.geekologie.com/2008/07/super_mario_landscape_art_inst.php
I'm not sure who will like it more, my kids or husband.
BTW, it's a lovely, sunny winter day in Michigan.

I think you're referring to my homemade-reproduction Yaacov Agam "kinetic" painting. Made it out of a found-frame and some triangular strips of lumber, about ten years ago.
(Since I can rarely afford anything on my wish list, I'm forced to make due with Salvation Army cast-offs or homemade, as you can see.)

yes, that is it Jesse, sorry. (my folks, in their 80's, are one the coast and
deep in snow, power iffy) He pulled out the old kerosene from the shed!
from the 70's...yikes.
Spending the day getting some old pals over there...
WHC has some nice artwork.
The Nakashima is similar to the one that was in our house when we did the
first walk-through. It was wall mounted, 6+ ft. We did not get a bit of the storm
today...prepped for it and i have a new computer to spend a stormy day going
through old photo files. Found photos of our house the day we first saw it.
Hence the longing for the sideboard that the OPO's
took with them...(it was damaged in transport to their retirement home).
It was a custom piece and i see the notch in the wall where it once was.
It takes a stormy day to wish it was still here. That's all....
