Hi. This picture was behind the beautiful Rene painting EH loves, and I've forgotten about it for years. I gave up after a year or so of looking, and it's sat ever since. There was never a signature. It's 3-D (or maybe 2-D) as the white is elevated off the black, and was adhesed to it after it was cut, and shaped. You can see at least 3 guys w/o being on acid. Not sure after a square. I've always liked it. It measures 41" x 24". What do you guys think..? Thanks..:)

It appears to be related to the poster for the 1981 film 'Gallipoli' (How did you not find this?) ... but it's different as you can see below. The lower faces are masked out for the poster. I wonder if it was some pre-production piece? Or maybe some graphics art student was just inspired to use it for a project.
Anyway you might be able find out who did the artwork for the poster easily enough and solve the mystery from there.
For what it's worth, pyramids in my day. 😉
