So...not the biggest fan of Heywood Wakefield. Too atomic for my liking. I'm definitely into the 70's and Danish side of Mid Century. BUT I found a bedroom set in pristine condition (and I mean pristine) with some rare pieces in it for a rock bottom price on CL. I ended up taking it because I was drawn to a rare piece in the set. I've also got a problem with a small bedroom I've got not being large enough to fit a Danish floating bed. In general I find mid century bedrooms harder to put together than dining and living rooms. Anyway, between the unbelievable price, the over the top just off the floor of the showroom condition, and the collection including one of the rarer Heywood Wakefield pieces, I snapped it up. I have to say I can see why it has it's fans. The construction is awesome. The lines are simple. My set is from the Encore line.
So now looking for advice on what colors work best with Heywood Wakefield champange finish. I have a lot of black and tans and teak in the rest of my house. Would a black bedspread work on a Heywood bed? I also considered an Orla Keiley and found it lacking. I am drawn to this carpet on their website. I'm looking to avoid the room being a total disconnect from what's happening in the rest of the house.

Opinions and help on blending it with Danish modern much appreciated. Are there colors that would help it look a bit more sophisticated? I do find that certain woods look best with certain colors. Rosewood looks great with dark green and black. Teak with orange, etc.

Arrogant much?
I am in fact NOT asking what is your favourite color, but what works well with the tones of Heywood Wakefield Champange and might blend well with the teak black and tan colors in the rest of the house.
I would provide photographic reference, but as the room isn't completed yet, not much I could provide except for photos of Heywood Wakefield champange which I'm assuming everyone knows.
But thanks for acting like you're the expert and the rest of us are rubes. Perhaps you should reread the post. For someone so arrogant and intolerant you aren't very detailed.
