I see too much cross pollination between these two forums lately... hmmm... Is Frankieboy here the same as Frank (or Mid-C Frank) from Apartment Therapy?

I use to be a subscriber to Architecture magazine.
Too bad about its recent demise.

-----
I subscribe to Metropolis.

-----
Interni is a really good one.

-----
Abitare is good as well: http://abitare.corriere.it/

-----
Modernism is nice. A little decorator-ism, but good.

-----
Domus is usually pretty good. http://www.domusweb.it

-----
Elle Decor & Real Simple, can be ok from time to time, as far as more decorator-ish magazines go.

-----
Wallpaper and Surface are good for eye candy.

I was only recently turned on to Atomic Ranch.

I like.. Big magazine too. Subscriee to many including Metropolis, Met Home, Elle Decor- think World of Interiors is always very well done.
Oversized magazines never seem to last. Even Metropolis is much smaller now. I have some of the old stapple bound issues, they've shrunk again even since they went to a glue bound spine. They use to be newpaper sized. They made the old issues of Interview look small.
I know I'm going a little off topic, but I still have one old issue of "W" when it was printed as a full newpaper sized glossy (I also have a near mint copy of the first glue bound issue). I have an old issue of FAD that is gigantic, and DETOUR, back when it was a local LA scene rag, it was huge, 18".
Magazines (even newspapers) continue to cut down in size due to cost cutting on paper, printing costs, and postage cost.

Official design magazines
In Design Dictionary you can find some of the most important magazines in the world. Every magazine section features a description. I suggest you try Casabella and Casaviva.

I have never really settled on a fav...
Dwell came really close for a long time. I still enjoy it, but it has changed a lot recently and I like some of the changes but not others. Apparently Alison Arieff leaving was over the direction Dwell is going.
I also get:
Metropolis
Met Home.
I've gotten these 3 for many years. I got Dwell right from the first issue. I've also experimented with ID, Wallpaper, Domus and Modernism. I've reduced my readership back to the first 3 as it seemed like those were the only ones I was really reading.
