can someone help me to authenticate this chair please?

mine was bought at an antique shop and it is black but has the same x shape base as the one in the pic

most pics of other Bertoia's...
most pics of other Bertoia's seem to have a different base that is why I was wondering about this one

Doesnt Look
Unless the photo is distorted this doesnt look like a production Bertoia chair that I've ever seen. I'm staring at a current production and the photo you included seems much more elongated and upright. The spaces seem more square, where-as the Bertoia has a more horizontal rectalinear grid. Again - could just be the photo.

it's a vintage bertoia knockoff
it's vintage, but not a knoll production bertoia design. not a bad chair but lacks the scuptural harmony of the original. sorry i don't know any more than just that.
