Nope
No. Just a wire form that they used to use to ship covers if you ordered a replacement. They made them for the diamond chair too.
Now they just throw them in a box.

Someone should let him know
... that Wright did NOT sell the small diamond chair for 10K. It was included in an auction until they realized the error and pulled the lot. That is why there is no number for a result and why it does not come up if you search "Bertoia prototype" on their site.
He also lifted his description straight from the Wright catalog copy he linked to.
Classy.

It really is astounding...
Although I must say that Wright is partly to blame. I've dealt with them in the past and they don't exactly wow with knowledge. Surely you'd think someone would've simply placed a phone call to Knoll or sent an email before listing that piece of packing material for $10k? That doesn't excuse this guy's plight obviously, whether it be ignorance or insolence. But it's not as if he's running an auction house, now is he?

HA!
So has anyone broken the news to the seller and crashed his "get rich quick" idea?
We all have those ideas but this one is absurd!

It's fun to watch
the seller revise and re-word his description, price, etc... daily...

The diamond on the Wright website is beautiful, $10,000 is a bit steep though... Seems absurd Knoll made half a chair just to ship a cushion.

Wasn't it more than 2K to start? With that kind of money, I could buy a real chair!
What weirdo would've kept this pad frame all these years?
