Wondering if anyone could ID these for me. (off CL)
I've found a couple other images of similar chairs out there - but none with a name/designer/manufacturer

Considering them for our dining room.

Seller says they might be Knoll, but who knows.
No obvious markings.

Thanks!

thonet, possibly sauder I'd say. I've seen ones with upholstered seats like those by sauder.

I've..
seen these chairs before in a church! They were lined up side-by-side and were used as pews. Some had shelves under them to hold hymns and bibles. I doubt that they are Knoll based on the fact that they ended up in a church but they are pretty interesting. Are any of them labeled?

Funnily enough - they were apparently previously used in a community center.
I just picked up 6 of em.
thanks for the input - still would love to positively ID em if anyone else has any ideas.
Googling produced naught for pictures so far
They're side-to-side interlocking, if that helps.

I'm tellin' you, it's Sauder. 🙂 The mention of church reminded me, I've seen an old brochure for their church chairs with those in it. I almost bought a few for 40 bucks.

How creepy!
I was at the Amvets thrift store and saw several stacks of these exact chairs in the backroom. They are labeled 'Designaire'. Do you live in San Diego?

Nope - I'm in...
Nope - I'm in Seattle.
These were also picked up at a thrift store by the seller (for 4.99 each! ha!)
I paid $25 per
Google doesnt show much for "Designaire" so far. Interesting . . .

yeah...
I googled it also but didn't find anything. The crazy thrift store is selling them for 20 bucks each! This is the same thrift store that prices cheap Ikea chairs at $75 and Knoll for $8. If they are still there next time I go I will snap a picture and post it. I think that it said where they were made but I don't remember, I know that they are American.

Odd and interesting.
I'd love to see them ganged together. The asymmetrical legs are something else !
