I've never seen a post on beds since I was here. I'm bored of my off the production line pine bed and want something a little classier. I saw the one below and thought it was kinda neat (esp if it was in a nice dark wood) although not amazing.

Can someone post some cool ideas for bedroom furniture (especially and including beds). Wardrobes also appreciated. In terms of the latter, I think Art Deco style wardrobes look great, they're modern, not too decorative, yet not too plain. Need a double one that can hold heavy vintage leather motorcycle jackets (more on that when the new fashion sub forum launches)

I'm a fan of
I'm a fan of Ikea wardrobes. Easy to configure, fairly cheap, modern look, 10+ year warranty (at least here in the states.
Unfortunately my bedroom is just large enough for a bed and two dressers so no wardrobes for me. Lots of closet space tho 🙂
I am partial to low, simple, platform beds. I used to have the Min bed from DWR (link below)
I like Matt Hilton's bed - simple and clean. (pic 1)
I've long admired Modernica's Fastback Bed - based on Nelson's designs, but I fear the mattress would slide all over the place.
And if I had the funds I would nab Bensen's Reve Bed from DWR. Simple, elegant, and if its built anything like my Bensen couch - sturdy!

Mattress doesn't slide off the Modernica bed
unless you're reenacting the orgy scene from Caligula.
But even then, you can hold the mattress in place by means of a slave chained to each corner of the bed, so it's really not a problem.
